Pattern Recognition is one of my favorite books and felt like a perfect fit to envision through the medium of AI design. One of the main ideas of the novel is the "garage Kubrick theory" of one person with access to incredible rendering power generating photorealistic video clips that are anonymously distributed across the web, yet somehow seem outside of any specific time or place. Set in London, Tokyo, Moscow and NYC Pattern Recognition is envisioned as a techno-thriller in the style of director David Fincher.
