Focus on Clinical Research - Episode 1: The Johns Hopkins Story

How did psychedelics, not so long ago cast into the wilderness by the medical community, so quickly return to America’s most prestigious research institutions and graduate to the pages of its premier journals? This film tells the stories of the scientists who re-opened the doors, and the new generation of researchers working to explore the potential of psychedelics in science and medicine.

Autumnal Films founder and creative director Christian O’Toole provided remote production consulting for this film during the height of the Covid 19 pandemic and executed all post-production remotely including editing the full 45-minute film, along with trailers and social media marketing content, as well as handling all color grading, stock footage research, production music selection, animation/motion graphics design and integration, and final audio mixing.

Focus on Clinical Research - Episode 2: Death, Dying & Psychedelics

While much has been made of the potential for psychedelics to improve the lives of those suffering from maladies like depression, addiction, and PTSD, how can they help us face the fears that await all of us at the end of our vital journey? Focus on Clinical Research - Episode 2 explores how psychedelic experiences can offer insight into the deep questions of mortality, and perhaps offer a pathway to peace for those in existential distress.

Autumnal FIlms producer and editor Christian O’Toole once again provided remote production consulting for this film and executed all post-production remotely including editing the film, trailers and social media marketing content.
